The production is done with different qualities of high temperature wool and binders. Depending on the quality of the raw materials, shapes for an application temperature up to 1800°C can be produced.
We use earth alkaline silicate wool, aluminium silicate wool and polycrystalline wool.
Vacuum shaped parts are characterised by good insulating properties, high temperature resistance and very good thermal shock resistance. Due to the prefabricated desired shape, the installation is very easy and quick to carry out.
Panels
Panels are produced in the dimensions 1000x500mm and 1000x1250mm in thicknesses 10-50mm. Other dimensions (100mm or thicker) are available on request.
Pre-heated
Vacuum shaped parts can be pre-fired to avoid odour from the organic content as well as to minimise shrinkage of the shaped parts at service temperature.
Coatings
All shaped parts and sheets can be delivered with a coating suitable for the application temperature. This coating additionally protects the shaped parts and sheets against mechanical stress.
Hardening
To obtain particularly strong and stable shaped parts, they can be hardened. This increases the density considerably. Particularly suitable for processing on machines.
